SketchUp is a 3D modeling program designed for professional architects, civil engineers, filmmakers, game developers, and related professions. You can use this to make models, scale buildings, shapes, and much more. I have Sketchup on my computer at home and have made a scale model of my kitchen and an edited version of my kitchen that my mom wanted me to make. I have also created houses, whether it be for school projects or not. Two Years ago I had to use this program in school. Sketchup is able to be linked with Google Earth so that you can create a 3D model of a real life building in Sketchup and upload it directly into Google Earth so that people around the world with Google Earth can see what that building looks like; the building uploads right where it is in real life onto the digital globe in Google Earth. Google Sketchup uses a variety of tools such as Line, Arc, Freehand, Rotate, Push/Pull, Circle, Polygon, Rectangle, and 3D Text tools in order to ctreate images. You can also use the program to create things such as cars or other items that engineers work to create.
